Goshen Elementary XC

Shelby County Rocket Run

We arrived to our Goshen "tent city" excited for a day of racing!

We pinned on numbers......

Found our names on the banner.....

and we were just happy to be together as a team!

Finally it was time to see all our hard work in action!

First up were the girls top 7!

And These sweet girls came to run!

They were amazing and dominated the race!

Next Up were the top 7 boys and they were all about having a Champion State of Mind! They dominated as well!

Next up were the ladies in the Open Race and the heart and determination they showed was amazing!

Finally, it was the Open race for the boys! It was amazing to watch the sea of yellow in this race! The first 8 boys to cross the finish line were Goshen runners! These boys were on fire!

It was a day of many things ...

It was a day of friendship and being part of a team.....

It was a day of starts......

and finishes......

It was a day of giving all you have for the team you love....

and knowing you did your best.....

It was a day of smiles.....

It was a day of nerves.....

It was a day of pictures and memories....

and it was definitely a day of pride. There is nothing like seeing these kids give all they have to give for this team!

It was a day of accomplishment......

and most certainly....it was a day of celebration!

It was a great day to be a Gator!

We are so proud of your first meet! Now lets get ready to RUMBLE!!!!!

After all we have worked for...today our Gator Runners got to put on their spirit wear and unite as a team at school! It was a sea of XC spirit wear and they were all so proud to be a part of the team today!
