The 2013 Trinity Invitational was a wet one!
We gathered beneath umbrellas.....
pulled on ponchos......
But our Gators were still all smiles!
It was a soggy...muddy...walk through for sure!
We got ready to run...each in our own way....
and before we knew it we were at the start line ready to run!

And you just still there in awe of these kids.... and how far they have come....and the amazing moments that each meet brings....moments that settle in your heart forever....
Moments like...among all the cheering......how she can hear one voice above all the others....
and it helps her dig a little bit deeper to cross that line.....
and before she even crosses he is on his way to meet her at the other end of the shoot.....

Yes...we run....yes...we run well....but the heart of this team is what makes us all real winners....
Tonight we celebrated the girls placing 3rd and the boys placing 1st..........
and the fact that we could go home and get warm and dry and ready to run tomorrow at the Kentucky Horse Park!
