Franklin County Invitational 2013

We arrived in Lexington for the Franklin County Invitational!

This meet is held at the Kentucky Horse Park

It truly showcases the beauty that Kentucky has to offer!

Rolling hills....white fences....this meet has it all!

The rain cleared and we ended up having a beautiful day to run in Lexington!

 The girls just rocked this meet....big Gators and Little Gators alike showed their hearts and ran with pride....

and the girls are really starting to understand that if you dig just a little deeper that you always have just a little more in you....

it's the last leg to the finish line.....and if you push just a little harder.....

you can try to pass just one more person....for yourself...for your team....

but it's possible.......

and our girls are doing this and it;s amazing to see!

and the boys...well they were amazing too!

They ran those beautiful white fences and pushed themselves with every step.....

But as usual the meet was about so much more than just running....
we cheered......

we encouraged......

We had fun.....

and at the end of the day....we were winners.......

In more ways than one......
