The traffic was a nightmare....we arrived to find we were not registered....but the afternoon was beautiful and the kids were excited to run! Every meet has a story!
First up...the Goshen boys!
The Goshen girls were amazing as they cheered on the boys! They did the wave and were full of spirit!
The boys were off!
Brandt had a great race placing second!
Riggs also finished in the top 10...placing 6th!
The Goshen Girls also came to run! We had some top finishers for sure!
One special thing about a meet is when the races are over...
The runners leave the shoot and fan out among the crowd in search of their people...the ones who cheered the loudest for them and love them the most. Sometimes these are the best parts of the meet....the reconnection between our runners and the parents. Where I am so proud of you is whispered and backs are patted for the effort that was given......
It truly was a beautiful night for a meet! After the races our Gators enjoyed watching the other races and having a little fun!
We are so proud of our Gators! Both the boys and the girls came home with trophies as they placed third overall!
Way to go Gators! Let's get excited for our big week of meets next week! It's going to be busy but fun!
