Tonight we held the last practice of the season! It was the perfect fall evening...leaves crunching beneath your feet, beautiful fall colors everywhere......
Practice was good...the kids are ready for state...they have worked so hard.....
XC tunes were handed out along with gator tatoos for state!
And then...in the blink of an eye...the last practice of the season was over...and for the 5th graders it was the last practice ever for them as a Goshen Gator.....as a team, we made a tunnel for them as they left..just a little extra special way to say goodbye to our 5th graders.....
As they ran through the tunnel so did the memories of every race...every practice...and every time they wore their uniform with pride....
Thank you for being a part of this amazing team, 5th graders....we will miss you...and you will forever be a part of Goshen Cross Country.....
Every class leaves a special mark on this team and we can't wait to see what the future has in store for our past and future runners...once a gator....always a gator!
We ended the night by celebrating our amazing season and this amazing team with smores, fun, and friendship!
Coach Lee really had a good time!
As the night ended the sky sure looked promising......let's take this as a good omen for State!
